We, cruel girls
'Little girls are cute and small only to adults. To one another
they are not sute, they are life-sized.'
‘Cat's Eye’ by Maraget Atwood
This series explores the theme of girlhood, where girls are
caught between the carefree innocence of childhood and the onset
of adolescence. It is a secretive, hierachical world in which
these girls compete for acceptance from one another.
Having a best friend in this constantly shifting arena, is vital.
As much as inclusion is desired, rejection and isolation are
feared.
